ALS promotes SmartCAT at LocWorld Berlin
From 3 to 5 June, Berlin is host to LocWorld28, the latest in a series of events dedicated to globalization, the translation industry, localization, and international business. The topic of the Berlin conference is “The Internet of Things”. Participants include major language service providers, industry professionals, and experts from such companies as ALS, LinkedIn, Canon, eBay, Intel, SAP, and Google.
Visitors at LocWorld have the opportunity to take a close look at SmartCAT, a translation automation platform developed by ALS. At the company’s stand, localization clients can learn how SmartCAT simplifies localization for painlessly making the leap into new markets, and how the cloud-based platform streamlines communication between translators, editors, and managers for greater efficiency.
LocWorld has been held two to three times annually since 2003. The Berlin conference is the second event in 2015, preceded in mid-April by LocWorld27 in Shanghai. The next LocWorld will be held in Silicon Valley later this year.
